Elena Rosemond

Elena Rosemond (she/her) has spent her career in education, with the bulk of the past twenty years spent as a Montessorian. Elena is dedicated to creating a Montessori community that is welcoming, empathy centered, and accessible. Working in a growing area with very few Montessori schools Elena is invested in cultivating Montessorians and growing access to Montessori for both students and teachers.

Elena has her BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art, her MACTE Early Childhood credential, and her Masters of Arts in Montessori Leadership from Sarasota University.

Originally from Durham, Elena has lived in Southeastern North Carolina since 2012. She has three small(ish) children and spends her free time trying to convince them to wear socks. Additionally she enjoys floating in the ocean, running, and photographing birds.
