Sarah McCowan

Sarah McCowan has worked in Montessori education since 2010 and holds her AMS Early Childhood Credential. She earned her BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds credentials in Positive Discipline Teacher Education and Positive Discipline Parent Education. Sarah is deeply committed to supporting educators, strengthening family partnerships, and upholding the integrity of Montessori practice. A member of MEPI since 2015, she has proudly served two terms on the MEPI Board of Directors and is currently entering her third, bringing both classroom experience and a collaborative leadership mindset to her role. Originally from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, she now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and their two sons, and enjoys traveling with her family whenever possible.
